# FAQ **Who is the creator?** [@johnfeatcrypto](https://x.com/Johnfeatcrypto) is passionate about web3 and the boundaries of this technology. After several years exploring the blockchain, where he discovered projects like FEG, XEN, TitanX, and many others, he wanted to start building personal projects himself. First came ANNA, an arbitrage project on smart defi (a technology from the FEG project) that worked on the initial version of smart defi. And now, there’s Gorillax, a cross-ecosystem project. **Why not have the main pool in TitanX instead of ETH?** It’s not that I didn’t want to do it that way, but since I’m not a developer, I rely on a platform to create the contract and pools. However, the first pool created is automatically based on ETH. That’s why I have a large share of the sales tax to buy TitanX and lock it in the treasury. **Why use a launchpad instead of developing your own protocol?** I’m not a developer, and creating the equivalent of what this launchpad (smartdefi.com) offers would have required a significant amount of money and time. This launchpad provides the opportunity to execute complex contracts and simplify the entire liquidity pool aspect. Without this option, I simply wouldn’t have been able to undertake this project. I hope that this project will showcase both the launchpad and the innovative TitanX ecosystem. **How can we be sure that the creator won’t run off with the funds?** In DeFi, there’s never anything completely certain. However, I’ve taken this very seriously since writing the Whitepaper. The presale has been minimized to the strict essentials, meaning only 5 ETH will suffice to launch the project. The majority of the funds will be allocated to liquidity. Additionally, even though I’m not doxxed, you can verify my previous project, which was also launched on the same launchpad, here (). Once the initial liquidity phase is closed, the funds will be transferred to the pools as outlined in the Whitepaper and permanently locked. **When do you plan to open the presale?** There’s no specific date at the moment. I’m introducing the project to the community, improving it as needed, and building a solid foundation on Twitter and Telegram.
